We have made numerous updates to our podcast studio on a limited budget, and while there have been a few failures, there have also been many successes. This summer, we decided to create food review videos centered around Mr. Beast for my two sons and my YouTube channels. Although the project lacks a strong direction and doesn’t always work perfectly, I always say, “No one died, but we learned something.” Therefore, we are treating these videos as home videos, capturing precious moments. Our family’s old videos mainly featured our older kids and focused on our competitive shooting days when we called ourselves Havoc Legion. Unfortunately, this came to a sudden halt when I was relocated to Illinois, a state with severely restricted gun rights. As a member of the military shooting team, I am even unable to purchase ammunition here.
So here are the updates, We made 2 videos reviewing Mr Beast Feastables. I have always had terrible luck with having good audio and I pretty much just throw money at it trying to figure out the problem.
I replaced the Scarlett 2i2 with some Lavalier Mics connected to the Iphone , and then starting trying the Pyle PMXU63BT then sending the audio into the Rebel t3i. I had zero luck with the Scarlett2i2 and I need 3 microphones and eventually 4. I also ordered a Samson Q2U USB/XLR Mic, currently we have some janky DVR100 Mics that I hope are creating the hiss, but I have no idea. Lastly with sound I ran the audio through, Adobe Podcast to fix the background hiss I have. This has been monumental is fixing the quality but separating the sound into just a MP3 is a pain.
We switched cameras from the Logitech 920 to an Iphone and finalizing into the rebel. t3i
I also moved the podcast studio to aim into the corner to draw the eyes into the people standing there, Friday our Feastables come in and we will do a new video with the setup.
After you turn the volume up let me know what you think! I really enjoyed eating with the kids and I also think the Thumbnails are bad ass! I may try and remaster them again using adobe premier and not Shotcut software. Please leave a comment of your what you think should be our next attempt at fixing things.
